Buying a Diamond Designing Your Ring Carat Clarity COlor Cut Gem Lab

Personally Certified Diamonds

Our diamonds are personally certified by a Master Gemologist Appraiser. The Master Gemologist Appraiser is awarded, by the American society of Appraisers, to the most knowledgeable and experienced appraisers in the jewelry industry. They are the "cream of the crop" and really know their gems. To be a Master Gemologist Appraiser, one must own a complete gemological laboratory with all the necessary equipment, comparable to the major diamond certifying labs, such as AGS lab and the GIA Gem Trade Lab. We use the same standards for grading color as GIA or AGS and often our diamonds will have a secondary lab report confirming color and clarity grades.

At Passion Fire diamonds we have all the equipment to demonstrate perfect cutting for AGS ideal cut proportions, and perfect Hearts and Arrows patterned symmetry. You don't have to take our word on because we can show you the report from the two pieces of equipment we use. However, with polish, there is no equipment to replace the human eye. The industry standard for grading polish, whether at the AGS lab or the GIA is 10 times magnification, and graded as either Excellent, very good, good, fair or poor. Passion Fire Diamonds must have exceptional polish at 100X. In order to source our diamonds at the best prices, we use our own equipment to grade proportions and symmetry, and we use a Master Gemologist Appraiser to evaluate polish at 100 times magnification, ten times the industry standard and practice.

Every Passion fire diamond meets these standards: AGS ideal proportions, perfect hearts and arrows symmetry, exceptional polish at 100X magnification. Our Master Gemologist Appraiser will sign each report to confirm the grades. If you still want to confirm, we recommend getting a second opinion from one of the other 42 (or so) other Master Gemologist Appraisers in the country.
